Thanks very much. Pretty dumb of me not to try the TSE prefix in my searching. FN and especially EN look astonishingly ongoing for precious metals companies--as is already reflected in their prices.

Today's decline in gold prices does begin to look like a long-awaited bottoming--pretty soon the prices will be getting close to all but the most efficient producers. If they go on down this could be the best buying opportunity since the early 1970s.

But for a while this may just have the effect of boosting long-term treasury prices. With falling stocks and declining gold prices the fed is more likely to lower interest rates than to raise them.
