Ted, you make some good points, but I really don't think we have a fundamental credit crisis. Instead, the existing institutions are all acting like GM, Ford, and Chrysler. They're pretending they're too big to fail.

I'm not against shoring up financial institutions, but I also don't think some of them collapsing is going to mean the second coming of the Great Depression.

By the way, I really don't care what Cramer has to say about this, because Cramer flip-flops on a regular basis. More sound minds have come out in favor of doing nothing, and while I don't believe that's the most ideal solution, I believe it's much better than the solutions borne out of panic.
