Senators are calling for the resignation of Roland Burris, the Blagojevich appointee over an erupting scandal claiming Roland Burris lied under oath about his prior associations.

This comes on the heals of an affidavit made public on Saturday where Burris admits he had been solicited for fund from the brother of Gov. Rod Blagojevich. tsk

Doing as you suggest......becoming protectionist would encourage other countries to do the same. We still have industries that export to other nations. We would only hurt ourselves in the long run.

No, I am talking about federal consumption tax, and drastically reducing income taxes. Result: More US domestic production (jobs, exports), less imports.
