I also took pains to point out that IT IS EARLY YET. No way to know "how bad it will prove to be in the end" because it hasn't hit bottom yet. All we know is that the acceleration downward is extremely rapid. (And that's a very big problem. The last thing we want is to sit back and watch a self-reinforcing deflationary spiral downward form.)
