Buddy, I respectfully disagree, although your response was well articulated and thought out.
Thermodynamics, Gravity, and even Nuclear Fusion are very good theories that have evidence in both mathematical and empirical science.
The theory of Evolution, which may be true, does not have clear mathematical evidence, and its empirical evidence is lacking in that it bases its argument on fossil evidence from which a derived hypothesis is made. Far less scientific and far more conjecture - but compelling to say the least.

Compelling, but the issue is not resolved. Perhaps future genetic research will prove better. The most fascinating argument for evolution is one that always intrigued me:
That is that 'Ontogeny Recapitulates Phylogony' ----
meaning the development of the individual follows the pattern of the species even on an evolutionary scale.

Finally, since this is a forum on Prez. Obama, I would just say that reducing humanity to a mere scientific object opens the political means to use population control & genocide to meet a human scientific goals. tnt
