I say the proof is in the pudding. Clinton was president and had veto power. He also raised taxes.

Clinton did because he was checked every step of the way by the Congress.

This myth ranks right up there with the current GOP screwup of voting unanimously to defeat the stimulus bill.

Not a single Republican in the house or senate voted to support Clinton's budget balancing initiative.
