It would be foolish to assume we have any good idea what the economy will be like for the fully year under relatively chaotic economic conditions.

I imagine a lot of these loans could be rather dubious. Such has been the case in China before when the government acted to extend credit (and when the US government did so in different ways).

As I said before, assuming every point in the story is correct, including not just the estimates being reported correctly but actually being correct. Its a pretty thin reed to hang any larger argument on. Your relying on estimates, for a very different economy, thats going to get a very different stimulus. So you have uncertain guesses about a very different situation. Is that supposed to mean all that much when we consider American economic, fiscal, financial, and monetary policy?
