I wonder what Santelli's reasoning is. Markets get euphoric both up and down; no reason gold can't do so on the upside.

You never know. Once these markets get rolling, there's no telling where they will go, ergo, oil. The gold market isn't anywhere near as big as you might think. Prices could get pushed incredibly high with a relatively small amount of money especially when you're talking about stimulus programs in the trillions.
