I'm short NSCP and MU and feel they are in mid-flight on the way down. I shorted YHOO a few days ago and believe it is just starting a long descent. I have my eye on the almighty MSFT. IMHO Reno, Sun or others will prevail one way or another. Computer software is a bona-fide major US industry. In the good old USA we prefer tri-opolies in major industries, more or less, rather than monopolies. A MSFT monolith will no longer be tolerated.

For safer long term investment, why not look at good companies that have been beaten up in recent months i.e. good values? Not too many come to mind right now, as so much has run up. APM might fit this category, but the product transition issue seems unsettling.

Venkie,

The most save short is EDS just before they release their earnings.
They are hammered 3 times in a row since they broke up with GM.

See the chart for yourself, you can see exactly when they announced
earnings.

On the other hand, a few weeks on the sideline may also be a good
idea for you. You seems a little bit emotional/nervous to me.

Make that chat with your wife a romantic one, after all it is only
money you are loosing.
And tell three/3/drie/drei that Ajax won 10 matches in a row.
Sunday Ajax-Feijenoord (a classic) and off course a walkover for
Ajax.

Wish you all the best.

Paul
