Au contraire - if you're Chrysler, the collapse of one or more (occupied) decks of a parking garage means fresh demand for new cars. I am waiting for the Big Three to start employing "Gone in Sixty Seconds" tactics - namely, hiring professional car thieves to steal and wreck / total domestic cars to drive up domestic demand. It would be a LOT cheaper than further increasing customer cash incentives...
