GULF PRODUCTION MONITOR February 18, 2009: Gulf production remains around 10.5 Bcf/d. MMS posted a final hurricane update last week indicating that 945 MMcf/d remain shut in due to hurricane damage to pipelines and producer facilities. MMS also estimates that it will take until mid-May for production to return to near normal. Based on the final repair to the Sea Robin JLeg in mid-May which should allow 140 MMcf/d of production to resume, Bentek still expects production in the Gulf to return along the same timeline of mid to late May. bentekenergy.com
