Jeffery,
Very good point about the Asian mind and how they may react. On the other hand I myself closed out some gold stocks last week and yesterday, based on news I heard from a trader that there would be a CB sale soon, hoping to buy back cheaper later. Having closed at the low, I do not believe I will be buying any back until I see what's going on first! On the other hand, when the mining stocks I follow are bleeding all over the page, I couldn't be happier with the way BCMD held up today. Well, we could have closed up a 32nd, but hey, gold got creamed today. Other equities didn't do so well either.
What's that saying, you never know what you need to know until its too late! That's why BCMD is my biggest holding, followed by cash and then HL. Bull markets don't puke on bad news in China. I know some people who do import/export with Thailand. Guess what, the Thai business people can't pay, and that was three weeks ago.
