I suspect to keep the chain of power intact they don't fly on the same airplane in case of a crash. Doesn't excuse the fact that after chastising the auto execs for flying little private jets to DC that they turn around and waste all of this money just for the show. It seems to be all about show with these fools. Constant state of campaigning.

I would be willing to bet Air Force One, a fully laden 747 burns more fuel on takeoff then the 3 private jets the auto execs came in burns on the trip to DC and back. This doesn't even account for Air Force Two plus all of the front people and security that flew out ahead of them.

I think Obama likes Air Force One a little too much. He's spending all his time in it.

The more I see of the guy, the more I think there is something to the comments that he displays pathological narcissm. He's trying to make up for the insecurity of his childhood.
