MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., Oct 24 (Reuters) - Silicon Graphics Inc. said on Friday it had no immediate comment on a newspaper report that it plans to lay off several hundred employees next week and has been looking for a potential suitor. "The company will make a full disclosure of our financial results and near-term actions in the marketplace at 1:30 p.m. (1630 EST/2130 GMT) Pacific Time on Monday," a spokesman said. Shares of Silicon Graphics were off 2.75 percent, or 7/16, at 15-1/2 in late afternoon trading, then broke into positive territory.
