Bankers. And people who were speculating on increasing real estate prices. And people who simply didn't have the willingness to deny themselves more house than they could afford and are now, therefore, in the crapper.

Of course, those who actually MAKE their mortgage payments and abide by their commitments? They get nothing.

According to TV news, this sorry-assed bill even has a provision that if these bums who bought more house than they can afford will pay on time for the next year they get a $1,000 bonus. Just for doing what they said they would??? WTF.

Apparently, investors don't agree. The BKX is down this AM. Could be options related since we are in expiry week. We'll see how the day goes.
