When you look at what the Dems are going to do the next two years, it's pretty obvious that we are getting a non-reversible Euro welfare state installed.

This *IS* obvious. It has been obvious since the day he won.

But it is no different from Medicare or SS. Once these programs are installed there is no un-doing it. Politically.

It is one of the things that turned me toward conservatism so many years ago. I came to the realization that there is a persistent liberal bent to everything our government does -- and that it would eventually bring down any state, including ours.

Conservatives can only fight it to try and keep the country secure from the ravages of liberalism as long as possible. You simply cannot fight a tsunami of people who are so f*ing stupid they think the government is going to pay for their gas and mortgage from now on.

Yes, the Dems will spend this money to get their power. But once they've gotten it, watch what happens.

Liberalism is a scourge that afflicts a nation and eventually will bring it down. Guaranteed, 100% of the time.

Steve, like I said before, Europe isn't so bad.

I guess America as a superpower has run its course.
