The hidden code is another issue but the point I was trying to make is that if the software developers don't do what MS dictates they will not receive updated software changes to the OS when MS updates the OS. I don't plan on looking up my old post to you but there was a link to a software developer mentioning this tactic by MS. By the way Corel received this kind of treatment from your beloved company. This is how MS uses its monopoly to control the software developers. If MS didn't have a monopoly this kind of tactic wouldn't work.

Now check this out. Hundreds that means more than 100 companies.

Lawmakers To Tackle Justice Over Microsoft Probe

"Hundreds of software companies came to me with concerns that Microsoft violated the 1995 consent decree, and my interest was to ensure that these allegations were properly addressed," Burns said, in a statement. "I would say a solid step has been made in that direction." "It's going to be critical as we enter the 21st century that all small software companies be able to compete on an even keel," Burns said. "I would commend the Justice Department for vigorously pursuing these very serious allegations and taking action it felt was appropriate."

YuanQing Ji:

Will Microsoft be posting its court filings in the litigation with DOJ on line?

If so, could you please post apporpriate links here? I would like to be able to read and follow the primary source documents directly without media intermediation.

Thanks.
