So far, I haven't seen any indication that banks will be nationalized unless they are already failing, and their collapse would create systemic risk. That's just not the case at ING from all I can see; furthermore, the Dutch gov't took most of their huge US Alt-A mortgage risk off their hands for good, putting them even further from a crisis.

But there is a lot of skepticism and doubt out there, for understandable reasons.
