You must go to church in a tent..... I've been to more than a few churches and no, they don't all sing...try a few catholic churches...


I'm not a Catholic and only was in a Catholic church once for a wedding. They seemed to do a bunch of kneeling which I wasn't used to. Ditto for a priest putting pieces of bread in people's mouths. In the churches I've attended people sing.

He was simply repeating his phrase, "that all men are created equal"......

No, he was going beyond that to say God might punish the nation for its sins. That says God is active and righteous and intervenes in history from time to time - not just a first cause, clockmaker type being as deists would have said.
