Short. and hold. I gave up options long ago for just that reason. Shorting is no fun. It's hard work, and it forces you to focus on the downside all the time. But when everyone is doing so many stupid things that there are no reasonable risk/rewards on the long side, it's the only alternative if you want to grow your assets. Shorting will add gray hairs, no doubt about it, but nobody said bear markets were gonna be much fun... `BC
