Tim; Reagan never had a Republican dominated congress. The Democrats always had control of the Well I tried to explain that to you. That there were years that Reagan could do anything he wanted because of the coalition with the southern democrats - like Gramm. Gramm is as 'democrat like' as Rush Limbaugh, but if you want to attribute the Reagan years to democrats, I guess I can accept that. But, you don't get the Bush years! Those are republicans and it is those years that did the real damage. Let me restate; Senator Gramm is often offered up as the real reason behind the housing melt down. Time has him listed number 1!!!!
