Of course, you have no idea what I'm talking about when I said I lived in the barrio because you wouldn't get caught dead in a Hummer in the middle of a barrio.

You kidding? I lived in South Garland, Texas for 12 years. That's a barrio if ever there was one lol.

The 110 freeway is "drive-by shooting alley," but I don't bother going around, nor do I want to be pulled over by the CHiPpies (and distract them from going after the real criminals).

My wife used to work in King-Drew Medical Center, and we drove around the Watts neighborhood a lot. No biggie, just don't give anyone the look. Like driving in Brooklyn or the Bronx. (SE D.C., however, still scares me.)
