Never, NEVER, I repeat NEVER NEVER NEVER buy a Gateway. They let their customers do the QA. Bought one, it broke (dealing with them overseas is a drag). Still liked the computer. Recommend it to a friend, his broke. Local US Gvt organization I have connections with bought four, three of them broke. This year when I bought a computer for my Mom & Dad, they said they wanted a Gateway, I let myself cave in -- their CD-ROM, modem, and one other part broke. All of these computers broke within 2 weeks of purchase. A person does not need that kind of heartache.
