At this early stage of the Obama era, I would compare him to LBJ, the "guns and butter" man.. Maybe not even that good as LBJ did some good on the domestic front but he got bogged down in Vietnam as it seems like Obama will in Afghanistan, Pakistan and Iraq. Maybe the entire Middle East...... There is JUST too much PRESSURE applied by the MIC on our government/administration for them to resist.. Ike realized it and he was insider.. The MIC made too damn much money on WWII and wanted to keep it going.. Not good as you know.. I hope I am wrong but we will see..
