Great analogy!!!

though it would ruin the simplicity of the analogy, if you had people standing along the route from the deep end to the shallow end holding cups who would then dip their cup into the bucket as the student walked by, you would have a good representation of the government workers who have to get paid to process all of our money moving around. So actually, the pool gets a little more empty with every bucket.
