I don't know where you get the 'good intentions' thing.

At least he characterizes the effects of the economy as an oscillation, which resonates well to an electrical engineer like myself. That makes more sense to me than the notion that the free market is coming to a screeching halt.

The 'free market' based on self correcting mechanisms came to a halt a while back. Check Greenspan's comments... he was the ultimate free market guy. And now admits he was wrong.
