No... I'm talking about the Appalachian part of southcentral PA and Western Maryland (Hagerstown area). I'm not really talking about most of the rural parts, like the area between Baltimore and Frederick.

Those places do have a lot in common with the Appalachian parts of the South as well as parts of MS and AL. I can't vouch for Louisiana.
