In my profession the failure to predict the future results in losses when gains were available.

The first major act of the Obama Presidency was to destroy over a decatrillion dollars of American wealth and pass Porkulus. His future is alredy written. The best thing that could happen to him now is to lose control of Congress.

I think what he is saying is try to follow trends and have a realistic exit plan if something happens that you don't expect. You can't unload a trillion in credit default swaps following the trend...not realistic.
