I agree. Though I did buy some FSCNY. The upside is that there
is not that many shares of producing gold companies around.
There are plenty of BRE-X wannabes out there, so I'll stick with
the big producers.

I really don't think the Swiss are going to vote to sell off their
gold reserves. It's a pretty conservative country. (BWDIK)
So I think this is a great short term opportunity for going long
gold. But I am a lousy market timer on gold, as on pretty much
everything else.

Got lucky today and managed to trade my computer index (XCI)
puts from November expiry to December over the market bump
during midday. So I took profits, and converted some into time
premium. Please arrange for some people to flame me, I am
beginning to suspect that I have a knack, and I know for a
fact that this immediately precedes a disastrous mistake.
