I think what this Fox poll makes clear, is that in these times, people want Government intervention. The party that militantly says government can't, won't, or shouldn't intervene in times of economic crisis is in a very perilous position. As much as the right likes to pretend that FDR caused the Great Depression, prolonged it, or made it worse, he won four straight presidential elections. He moved our economy to the left with the support of the American people. That appears to be the same mood they're in today... SD
