I know what you're saying John. At this point, I kind of wish I had sold out early this morning myself. But the market looked good and Hong Kong, which was the whipping boy yesterday, had recovered nicely. Then in a very short time the market went into a freefall and I didn't know what to do. And after that, it had fallen so much that I had to assume that the damage was done and I would just hang on. So I ended up doing nothing.

I still don't know what it was that made the US market nosedive like that today after such a nice open. Seems like those computer programs are running amuck again. Maybe it's just the Friday effect.
