<< good news>> Indeed. Folks would be disconnecting their odometers 6-8 months out of the year until it becomes necessary to institute prison terms for automotive tax evasion, as well as recruiting an odometer police force (a job stimulus?).

Obama administration keeps Bush view on Afghanistan detainees cnn.com He's sure not done anything much to change rogue nation's status so far, I'll give you that. <g> Again, to keep the screech monkeys off his back a while longer, he may be counting on the courts to do some of the heavy lifting, but unless we see Cheney's ass in the Hague soon enough, it'll be clear that the Constitution is just toilet paper to him too.
