Yes, I caught part of it. Had to stop. So infuriating to hear how lobbyist got rich from building his influence peddling. I recorded the show, may try to watch entire episode: not sure I have the stomach to watch it. I've seen sausage made; that's no problem for me. Hearing how laws are made -- that might be my limit. Part of the show I caught was where the man helped a college get some money (a law passed) for research. And his success got him business from other colleges/universities to help them fund their programs. Which sounded okay to me until Mr Moyers and guest said the problem was that there was no open, free-flow discussion of info. to determine which research by which school would be most beneficial to our society. Or apparently even if society were to be considered a beneficiary. The schools' success brought in businesses also requesting his efforts (influence). That's where I had to turn off the tv

It's frustrating to me because there's no end to this, the monies are bigger and bigger, it divides people (richer with influence/poor people with none). It's historical, apparently legal or laws are easily circumscribed. TARP money, stimulus packages - all big paydays for lobbyists. Somehow it seems our government (I'm a USA citizen) is being run less and less for all citizens and more and more for special interests at the expense of, and detriment to, our citizens. I see no realistic chance for change.
