Everyone should experience success. Unfortunately our society has degenerated to the point where everyone should receive a trophy for competing, not just for winning. YMCA tells coaches not to keeps score at kids sports games. Some people lack the ability to understand that freedom is freedom to succeed not freedom from want. Also complicating it are people who define success differently. Those who see economic disparity want to force those who have to give to people who define success in non economic terms. I am very successful because I have a great family and kids who have personal relationships with God. I also have had some economic success. No matter what methodology they might try they can't tax the first type of success and redistribute it to those who are less successful and who are less motivated to find success in these areas.
