theres another factor, the realization that offshoring hasn't worked as well as initially promised. Offshoring engineering really killed the tech industry, all the customers like sprint watched dell offshore engineering and then they did it too. The industry moved its CUSTOMER BASE to India, really stupid, typical McKenzie. Now a lot of them are wheeling it back in, not all. Dell moved its IT to India, Amazon did not. Apple and Google, the techs from this decade aren't even touching that toxic offshore brew.
