I am not aware of a poll of that nature when the Republicans controlled Congress. I suspect the numbers would be far higher because the Republicans didn't even pretend they wanted bipartisanship unless it meant "shut up and do what we want".

Not too much of a surprise... I imagine if the Reps were in power you would have the opposite result. A certain number of people, it they are in the cat bird seat are just going to say "fuk 'em if they don't like it".

I don't like the attitude but watching the reaction on the right makes me want to give up any attempts at bipartisanship.
