I spent a few moments glancing at some regionals this morning.
There will be some clean, well-managed banks that are already prepared to flourish in the new era of tighter regulation.

If something like this is implemented, you'd want to own the stocks of likely survivors ahead of the announcement. We should probably be trying to identify them as a potential speculative trade.

CMA is the only regional with primary exposure to Detroit. I'd stay away from it. <g/ng> I think TCF does a decent amount of business here, too. Ditto for them.
