" What sharpton and now the naacp are doing in NY is shameless"

It is unfortunate that Sharpton has any sort of constituency.

dumb cartoon for sure.

THERE WAS NOTHING "DUMB" ABOUT THE CARTOON. As political cartoons go, it was as good as the next. It was timely, it was on point, it was concise, it was relevant; BUT IT SURE AS HELL WASN'T "RACIST".

Saying it was a "dumb" cartoon is like saying an episode of King of the Hill is "dumb". You just didn't see the humor in it. Great. Maybe it is you.

What sharpton and now the naacp are doing in NY is shameless and causing harm to what are pretty good race relations in NYC and for no apparent reason beyond personal and organizational aggrandizement. Obama needs to say something.

God, Michael. Obama can't be speaking out every time Sharpton gets riled about something. This subject is well beneath the level of the presidency.

Personally, I think these cartoons are an excellent way of desensitizing the public. Were it up to me I'd have plastered the cartoon with The Prophet wearing the bomb-turban all over the place. It would do the Muslims good. They need to lighten up a little bit.
