Thread,
IMHO We all could agree that :

[1] Execution in sales and marketing are key to vigorous growth at SGI. And we all agree that SGI ain't got the sales and marketing capable of delivering shit as they so shamelessly have demonstrated again and again.
[2] SGI has superior technology in servers and graphics. I also believe the up coming NT machines will be super HOT and will have tons of differentiators versus competition,
[3] SGI has a very low and attractive valuation
[4] SGI has an in-effective(to be put mildly) CEO

So with all that said SGI will make a perfect fit for takover by a company that has already got the sales and marketing channel that could effectively go after massive opportunities in corporate internet server market as well as NT graphics market. This parent company WILL HAVE the right stuff sales and marketing and WILL CUT as much fat as possible so us shareholders could start breathing easier for a change.

Who is the superhero taking over SGI? I'll take ANYBODY over the current so called leaders running the show! Anybody! SUN, IBM, NEC, HP .....They're all BETTER CHOICES than now.

So as we say in Espania : Adios Ed!
