Botox4U2,

I own several of the stocks that you listed. I also agree with you that most of them have underperformed the recent surge in gold and silver, but fortunately they make up a small part of my portfolio. It appears that the major gold stocks like AEM, GFI, ABX, and NEM are the ones who have led this initial charge.

AEM is up approximately 155% from the October 2008 lows
GFI is up approximately 135% from the October 2008 lows
ABX is up approximately 100% from the October 2008 lows
NEM is up approximately 100% from the October 2008 lows

I believe that the next wave will be led by many of the small producers and juniors who have viable projects about to come online or ones that still have capital to continue to expand their existing 43-101 drilling programs. I own several of them and believe that it is only a matter of time before someone pounces on them to refill their depleting resources. Companies include UXG, VGZ, GBG, and XRA come to mind.

I am still extremely puzzled by the underperformance of HL and CDE with the way that the price of silver is starting to behave.

Cheers,

Steve
