No I meant that I am hedged against a decline in shares. This can easily happen without a corresponding decline in metals prices because when the overall markets tank the margin calls etc can bring everything down with it. Then I said that if it ALL comes crashing down them I be in bigger trouble but still only 50% of my worth is vulnerable to a decline from here of not more than 50% (in no way are metals prices going to go to zero) so I could have a paper loss of 25% of my net.
