CJ, we're entrusting more and more responsibility to government, thereby increasing the demands on government's collective intellect, power, and foresight. Much of that dependence on government is out of necessity, but I firmly believe it doesn't have to be.

Either way, I don't see politicians being all that much smarter than used car salesmen. Or "predatory lenders" (to borrow a favorite phrase of liberals that even Sarah Palin used). That to me is very troubling considering how much power government has and will have in the near future.

Some liberals here believe in more government as long as we have the "right people in office." Yeah right, we can't even find the right people to recommend stocks, much less manage a global economy (or build nations i.e. Iraq) ...
