Your state has made a number of wrong decisions in its history as evidenced by its ranking as 48th in the country in terms of per capita income. Arkansas is a poor, rural state for the most part. No doubt about that. Uh.....pretty much every state started out rural and poor. What happened to Arkansas? Yet, when incomes are adjusted by the cost of living, Arkansas fairs a bit better because we don't have housing bubbles here. Then why do you need more money back from the feds then you put in? Why do the blue states have to carry Arkansas? I thought you said you people were the salt of the earth........able to survive off the land without help from anyone else. You know......hunting deer, digging up potatoes out of the backyard, etc. As to "decisions in its history", I say you're full of shit. You don't know about any "decisions" in the history of Arkansas. We did have the misfortune of being run by Bill Clinton for a number of years, then a crooked Jim Guy Tucker. Is that what you mean? The country advanced under Clinton. Why didn't Arkansas advance under him? Besides, how long has Arkansas been a state? And how long was Clinton governor?
