I was passing along Puplava's views, not endorsing them. It seems clear that we are at or approaching a threshold here, so I could see either scenario playing out (short-term retrace or breakout to a new range). I agree that a sustained move over $1000 will start to bring in new participants. From what I can tell, a lot of people are continuing to watch this bull market from the sidelines, if they are even aware of it at all. My investment club bought a couple of gold stocks recently but most of the partners are really not keen on the stuff. The most recent idea put up for consideration...Cisco. Oh how we yearn for the days of olde instead of embracing the bull of gold!
