How many trillions of $ is GE`s CDS exposure?
BAC and C numbers?

The nominal net numbers of CDS exposure are nearly Zero for the big banks. They even have somehow more CDS bought than sold.(Goldman1? )

But problems (or big gains) may come from an uneven distribution of CDS over different underlyings and countparty risk should be considered although.

ASFAIK AIG is the biggest net seller of CDS. Because of no investment bank doing CDS big time for trading, GE should although be a net seller of CDS as other mortgage and debt insurers.

More and more companies and perhaps even countries will hit the wall and CDS events created. GM could be a real big CDS event.
