Honor the Fallen...

It makes most of us so very sad to hear of the deaths of such good men (and women). If Obama, or any other President, has our soldiers sent anyplace in the world, it is a travesty if they are not sent with the best supplies we can make, and a firm resolve as to why they are going into harms way.

Do we really need to be in Afghanistan? Something you posted yesterday indicated we have no strategy, and no plan for length of time, etc to even be there. Just a vague notion by some of the politicians and some of the citizenry that they want to catch Bin Laden and his outlaws. It is my suspicion that many of the same people who are dam*ing GWB and the Pentagon for not getting OBL, are the same ones who haven't even looked at a map, and who haven't any plan to catch the murderer. And wouldn't support the military if their very lives depended on it.
