I saw a guy on TV the other night pushing an intriguing solution to the bank crisis -- instead of bailing out these old banks, use the money to create new banks -- all which operate online rather than with the bricks and mortar infrastructure of the relics they're now bailing out.

This, to me, was a very sensible approach. Who gives a crap if they belly up, anyway?
