"Were any reasons given by Scott Black as to why he likes
LSI ?"
He made it very clear that he is a long term investor and does not do TA. He seemed to love it at these levels although he doesn't know if it will go lower. He feels they have no competition in a key area of which I did not hear. He was looking 2 to 3 yrs for it to be $50 again.

Lets see, capital spending is all pretty much over, They are leaders in gate arrays with the 0.18 and 0.25 fabs comming on line. No competition and still got 500 mil or something in the bank and the CEO knows what hes doing usually. All the bad stuffs pretty much behind them now so next year should be good and you can see upside suprises. He said both AMAT and LSI will double in less than 2 years from here..
