The article is warning you Kenneth that things are getting worse. You are getting what you laughed about... The democratic stimulus plan has a serious problem and people should contact their local papers to watch out for abuses. We were at a bid letting today and the project came in way under estimated projected costs by this city. The city announced this and then said it would hold off awarding the contract for a few days. They wanted to see if stimulus money is available in which case they would cancel this bid and rebid it using stimulus money instead. Net effect, no new jobs, states will transfer costs to the fed taxpayers...that is not the intent of the bill and we could not believe how stupid the person was that advised a room full of interested parties.
