The problem with Gorgon is that it was discovered in the mid-80's and still may not be on production for another decade. Chevron's mismanagement has led to hostile relations with partners Shell and Exxon. The project still has huge labor, cost, and environmental issues to overcome. And....the Far East is awash with gas projects. My bet is that BP will expand Tangguh and BG will get the Aussie CBM-to-LNG off the ground before Gorgon comes on line.
